In order, start to finish
1
Set the clockStraight out of the box the display blinks. SET CLOCK, then up/down for the hours, NEXT, up/down for the minutes, NEXT.
2
HardnessHold NEXT + UP to reach hardness. In Dallas it is typically no more than 12, so set 12. Set this for the area and the house you are actually in - it is not a fixed number.
3
Regen dayOnce every 28 days. Again, adjust for the location and the household.
4
Regen time2:00 AM. That is also the factory default.
5
Capacity and saltHold NEXT + DOWN. It takes a moment, then shows softening. Press NEXT, set, NEXT again to reach capacity. Numbers are in the table below.
6
Finish outKeep pressing NEXT through the rest, leave everything else at normal, until you see C1. It then goes back on its own.
7
Kick off the regenTap REGEN and it shows regen today - it will run at 2 AM that night. Hold REGEN until it clicks over and it starts regenerating right now.
